Unlike many countries, Jamaica does not expect you take a blood test before getting married.
All documents must be notarized before sending
Photo ID of Bride and Groom (Passport or Driver’s License)
Occupation for both Bride and Groom
Birth Certificates of Bride and Groom which includes the Father’s name or information substantiating same
Divorce Decree or Death Certificates
Marriage License (paid separately and must be obtained prior to wedding, this is valid for three months)
Arrival on the Island at least 24hrs prior to your ceremony
Written consent with proof of identity from both parents if under 18 years old
French Canadians need a notarized translated copy of all documents and a photocopy of the original French documents
Italian nationals celebrating their wedding in Jamaica must notify their embassy and a certified copy of their marriage certificate forwarded to their embassy to be legalized and translated
Very important to note: If your documents are in any other language other than English, it will need to be translated and notarized before sending it with the original language
Very important: Your country may require that in order for your marriage certificate to be accepted, the document must be legalized. In such cases, please contact the Embassy which represents your Government in Jamaica to have this done. The Hotel or Marriage Officer can assist you in this regard. If your country does not have an Embassy or Consulate in Jamaica, please find out from the Ministry of Foreign (External) Affairs of your country how you can get your certificate legalized.
Only after being legalized by your Embassy or Consulate is the marriage process in Jamaica complete and your marriage will be recognized as a legal union in your country of origin.

Marriage License valid for 60 days and can be obtained in the state that you’re getting married

Although there are differences between the requirements in the various states, a marriage between two spouses performed in one state must be recognized by every other state under the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the United States Constitution.
